3 Quick Communication Tips for Marketing & Admissions Professionals

Dec 10, 2021

Hi there!

✨  I have 3 quick communication tips for marketing and admissions professionals. If that’s you, listen up! Why do we want to know these tips? Because they're going to make your life easier and I'm all about making it easier for you.

1️⃣ Number one, if you're in this position, you really need to be on all teacher communication lists. So if teachers are using Vidigami or Homeroom app, etc. you need to be on it. If they are sending weekly emails, you need to be on these weekly emails.

2️⃣ Number two, make sure your faculty and staff are on all your emails. It's surprising how many schools forget to put the faculty and staff on the emails about annual giving, admissions, the happenings at your school and it leaves them uninformed. Choose to not only keep your faculty and staff informed, invite them to share! It keeps teachers, parents, staff etc. informed and generates a better understanding of what's happening at your school.

3️⃣ Number three, remember to schedule those very important emails that talk about incentivizing to the next level and those soft touches. We forget during the year that our parents and our community need soft touches. I'm talking about the warm and fuzzy about the real heart of a school and how we're sharing that with people. Soft touches need to be strategically scheduled throughout the year.

If you’re a marketing & admissions professional, what quick communication tips would you share? I’d love to hear.
