Books for Independent School Leaders: The Ideal Team Player

Aug 27, 2020

Hey there,

How are you doing? I hope well and ready to rock this school year.

I'm excited to share with you some of the books I love. I  know these books are perfect for independent school leaders.

Do you ever walk into a school and go, “Wow! this team really works well together?” Or have you experienced the opposite?

Over the past 15 years working in and with independent schools, I’ve been a member or leader of many, many teams.

But I couldn’t quite put my finger on why some teams got so much more done than others until I read this book - The Ideal Team Player by Patrick Lencioni.

The author dives into why you need humble, hungry, and “smart” players on your team and the repercussions if you don’t prioritize these traits. I highly recommend this book to every Head of School or school/business leader in charge of hiring or teams.

Watch this video to learn why this book is a must-read for you!

Cheering you on every step of the way!
