Why Urgency Drives Admissions Action

Sep 11, 2020

Hey there,

I'm talking about admissions today. You might think, "oh, I don't need to worry about that now." But here's the thing...creating and refining your admissions and enrollment plan now is critical to you have a successful spring.

As you're putting together your enrollment plan, here's a big question to consider.

How many of you put urgency that compels prospective families to action?

Think about this. When you're not presenting families with an option that requires urgency or that requires them to take action immediately, there will be no action. It’s human nature.

They will put off the decision until later, especially if it’s a decision as big as choosing a private school. They'll wait and wait and wait, and then they'll either choose you or they'll choose someone else.

So you really want them to choose something because then that gives you an idea of where you stand. And so putting a sense of urgency behind that is key.

Cheering you on now and always!
